Jewelry Spot Welder – 50A 110V/220V Handheld Pulse Welding Machine for Gold, Silver, Platinum, Portable Precision Welding Machine

$218.00

  • Precision Jewelry Spot Welding: Accurately tack small metal parts into position for jewelry assembly and repairs. Suitable for necklace wires measuring 0.3mm or larger; thinner wires may melt during welding.
  • Adjustable Welding Current: Features a continuously adjustable 0.5–50A output and 400W power rating. Fine-tune the settings to suit different metals, alloys, and repair tasks. Start at a low setting and test on matching scrap material.
  • Argon-Shielded Welding: Uses an inert argon atmosphere to help reduce oxidation and support clean weld points without flux. Connect to a compatible argon supply and pressure regulator before operation.
  • Foot Pedal Control: Trigger individual welding pulses with the included foot pedal while positioning the workpiece with the clamp. Briefly press and release for each pulse. Always wear appropriate welding eye protection during use.
  • Compact Design & Included Accessories: Measures approximately 340 × 320 × 320mm and weighs approximately 5kg. Includes the welder, foot pedal, cable, forceps clamp, and tungsten needle. Available in 110V or 220V versions—select the correct voltage when ordering.

Description

Precise Positioning: Use the spot welder to accurately tack parts in place.
Necklace Welding: Weld necklaces with a diameter of 0.3mm or larger (smaller diameters may melt).
Repairs: Easily repair metal joints or breaks without removing set stones or pearls.
Heat-Sensitive Metals: Repair heat-sensitive metals or metal alloys.
Molding Repairs: Repair the surface or entry points of molds made from the same alloy.
No Fluxing Needed: The inert argon atmosphere allows welding without fluxing, providing a smooth soldering point that does not require scaling or scale removal.
Installation and Setup:
Electrode Connection: Connect the black wire to the black connection (ground/cathode) and the red wire to the red connection (positive/anode).
Argon Gas: Connect the argon gas via the pressure reducing valve, and adjust the gas pressure to the minimum setting.
Tungsten Needle Preparation: Sharpen the tungsten needle on a grinding wheel, or use a Fordham flex shaft or Dremel tool with an abrasive disk. Avoid using wheels previously used for grinding iron/steel, as this can contaminate the needle and lead to uneven sparks or weld results.
Needle Installation: Ensure the tungsten needle extends approximately 5mm from the welding head, with a needle diameter of 0.1mm.
Operating Steps:
Power On: Plug the device into the wall socket and turn it on.
Adjust Current: Start by setting the current regulating dial to 1-1.5. The dial ranges from 1-8, and you can adjust the current flow based on the best results for your target material.
Check Gas Flow: Ensure gas is flowing over the tungsten tip by feeling it with your finger. Adjust the gas until you can just feel the flow.
Welding Setup: Clamp the object to be welded with the negative ground electrode. Do not allow both the tungsten needle and the ground clamp to contact the workpiece simultaneously, as this could cause a short circuit. Maintain a 0.5mm arc gap for optimal pulse welding.
Eye Protection: Wear arc welding eye protection and cover exposed skin with a shirt or gloves to avoid burns from UV radiation.
Foot Pedal Operation: Briefly step on the foot pedal and release. The arc will pulse and spot weld at the point where the tungsten electrode is placed.
